Google Testing New Placements for URLs in SERPs?
Google.co.uk appears to be testing out new placement locations for URLs on their search engine results pages.
As the PPC Blog spotted, the website addresses have been moved directly under the page titles. Normally, the URLs are located underneath the website description.
So far it has only been spotted temporarily on Google.co.uk, and Google is known for running multiple tests and layouts at any time on its various properties around the world — some of which are never seen again, but many of which eventually become incorporated in some way. There has been no official word from Google on whether this new SERP layout will become permanent or be fully rolled out.
What do you think of this layout?
