Google AdWords Adds Status Insights to Help Diagnose Ads Faster

Google recently announced the addition of a status insights icon to the Ads tab. This new feature provides visibility into the approval status and whether an ad is showing for the specific keyword or keywords that you're targeting.

Google recently announced the addition of a status insights icon to the Ads tab. This new feature provides visibility into the approval status and potential policy limitations for each individual ad creative.

Google says the new feature will be valuable for those advertisers advertising products or services that might be restricted to show in specific countries with certain keywords.

To see this new feature, hover over the “speech bubble” in the status column of the ads tab next to whatever ad you may be wondering about:

This will show you whether an ad is showing for the specific keyword or keywords that you’re targeting. It will also show the different locations where you’re trying to target the ads.

If the ad isn’t showing, then you can diagnose a little more to find out why. From this menu you can also change the keyword or target a different location from right within the hover.

Have you used this new feature yet? If so, do you find it interesting or useful? I haven’t really used this that much so far. It’s more of a complement to the existing ad diagnosis tools that are already there.
