When Bing’s social sidebar first appeared, Bing began returning results your Facebook friends had shared. More recently, they expanded that concept, allowing you to tag friends in search results to ask their opinions.

The concept of social results to Bing is simple: tap into the “collective wisdom of your social network” to help you make decisions about what you’re searching.

Bing has kept their relationship with Twitter, expanded their relationships with Facebook this spring and summer, and now has added Quora into the mix. Clearly, Bing is continuing to work more toward an immersive user experience in search.

As Bing continues to promote their social bar in search and other non-traditional advancements, do you like the changes? Are you any more inclided to use Bing? Does this help or hurt? Let us know in the comments.
