Hate Google Instant Previews? Here's How To Get Rid of Them

Google’s Instant Previews launched last week, and not long after some people began searching for ways to turn off the feature since Google doesn’t provide one (even if Instant is turned off).

Yesterday, a solution became available for Firefox or Chrome users who find the previews annoying. ArpitNext offers a script that will add an option to hide Google Instant Previews.

I tried this out on Chrome. Pretty straightforward. First, here’s a Google search for [search engine watch] before the install:

After you download ArpitNext’s script you’ll see this prompt:

After installing, the previews are gone:

Visit the site if you want to be free of Instant Previews.
