Google Creates New Web Interface for Mobile Searchers

The tech giant has streamlined its search results on mobile devices.

Google has introduced a new Web interface for mobile searchers.

The streamlined search results page loads fast and is easier to use on mobile, the search giant says on its Google+ page. For example, if you search for “Yosemite,” information from the Knowledge Graph and Google Maps will show up right below the search engine on mobile, rather than in the right-hand column as it does on desktop.

Google has been updating its mobile algorithm. The company will start considering mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal on April 21 of this year.
