Bing tests removing favicons from sponsored results
Bing is testing sponsored results without favicons, showing just the website name and URL a design choice that may reduce brand recognition for advertisers.
Bing is now testing sponsored results without favicons. I spotted this while searching for something on Bing — the sponsored results appeared with just the website name and URL below it, no favicon included.

Showing sponsored results without favicons feels a bit off, and personally, I’m not like of this test, since favicons play an important role in helping users quickly recognize a website.
Bing is testing a SERP design with no favicons at all, expanding a change previously seen only in sponsored results a test Google tried and later dropped.
