Google will combine its payment-oriented services. Google Checkout users will be prompted to migrate to Wallet on their next login, while webmasters will be guided through a transition in 2012. Wallet has also added features, partners, and options.

In a move that is likely aimed at further bulking up Google Offers, Google has acquired Zave Networks, a platform that lets customers redeem digital coupons and local businesses integrate loyalty programs. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Google Buys Local Deal Aggregator The Dealmap
Google has acquired The Dealmap, a website that collects local deals and discounts and makes them available via Twitter, a mobile app, and email. The service uses Google Maps to show deal locations, which could lead to more Offers integration.
